On June 11th, 2009, a charity event was held at ONYX for the "Nuts, Bolts, & Thingamajigs" organization with John Ratzenberger.

On March 1, 2008, Senator John Kerry visited ONYX Fusion Bar & Restaurant. This was shortly before it's completion. Along with Senator Kerry were Co-Owner Peter Pappas, John Doleva, President - Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the ONYX Staff.

During the final stages of construction, Mayor Domonic Sarno took time out of his busy schedule to come visit the River's Landing Complex and stopped in to Onyx for a tour. Here he is, pictured below with Co-Owner, Peter Pappas.
